2010 NBA Draft: The Final 2010 NBA Mock Lottery Draft

1. Washington Wizards - John Wall 6'4'' Point Guard, Kentucky

No contest, the Wizards are selecting John Wall No. 1 overall.

2. Philadelphia 76ers - Evan Turner 6'7'' Shooting Guard, Ohio State

As the NBA draft process came along, the 76ers became more aware of just how talented Evan Turner really is. There was speculation that Derrick Favors could be selected with this pick, but the Sixers organization loves Turner.

3. New Jersey Nets - Wesley Johnson 6'7'' Shooting Guard, Syracuse

Most people expected the Nets to select Derrick Favors with the No. 3 selection in the draft. However, the Nets aren't looking to wait for his contributions and will draft Johnson.

4. Minnesota Timberwolves - Derrick Favors 6'10'' Power Forward, Georgia Tech

With the Nets selecting swing-man Johnson with the third pick, the T'wolves have no choice but to go big. Al-Farouq Aminu isn't on their radar, but they may be paying attention to him come draft night.

5. Sacramento Kings - Greg Monroe 6'11'' Power Forward, Georgetown

The Kings loved Monroe in the workouts. He is a versatile forward that can do a lot in the post. The trade of Spencer Hawes is why Monroe is a lock at No. 5.

6. Golden State Warriors - Al-Farouq Aminu 6'8'' Small Forward, Wake Forest

Aminu skill set is very raw, but he knows how to score the basketball. Don Nelson will fall in love with Aminu's potential and he will be a dominant wing-player in the future.

7. Detroit Pistons - DeMarcus Cousins 6'11'' Center, Kentucky

The Pistons are a team that is looking to bring some defensive intensity to the frontcourt. They have expressed interest in trading up in the draft for Cousins, but I think he will fall to the Pistons at No. 7

8. Los Angeles Clippers - Paul George 6'9'' Small Forward, Fresno State

The Clippers wing position is very weak. They need a back-up point guard as well, but their main concern is the wing position, and George will fill that void.

9. Utah Jazz - Luke Babbitt 6'8'' Small Forward, Nevada

The Jazz is going to have the chance to acquire Carlos Boozer and I think they will. So they'll go after wing threat Babbitt, that is suited for their halfcourt style.

10. Indiana Pacers - Daniel Orton 6'10'' Center, Kentucky

The Pacers are another team that is interested in trading up. However, if they do not then Daniel Orton is their guy.

11. New Orleans Hornets - Xavier Henry 6'6'' Shooting Guard, Kansas

The Hornets are shipping Chris Paul--possibly--and should go after a wing threat in Xavier Henry. He will fill out what the Hornets thought James Posey and Peja Stokakovic.

12. Memphis Grizzlies - Patrick Patterson, 6'9'' Power Forward, Kentucky

I believe the Grizzlies need to find a good power forward that can stay out of trouble. Right here is who Gasol will be matched with in the post, and watch out Memphis may be looking for interested parties in Zach Randolph.

13. Toronto Raptors - Ed Davis 6'9'' Power Forward, North Carolina

The Raptors will need a frontier force in the paint after the departure of Chris Bosh. The best possible recruit is Ed Davis.

14. Houston Rockets - Cole Aldrich 6'10'' Center, Kansas

Aldrich will be selected by the defense-less Rockets. With Yao Ming and Aldrich in the same frontcourt could spell trouble.
